Different Cultural Perspectives On This Issue

samuelpruscino

The health effects of climate change and carbon footprint is a serious issue, and there are many different cultures that may have perspectives on it. We conducted a survey that included people from 13 different countries and cultures including Hong Kong, Singapore, Greece and the USA. In this survey we found that everyone who answered it thought that Climate change and Global warming were serious issues. However, we also discovered that many people did not feel comfortable saying that they knew "a lot" about this issue.

There were also many negative comments about Climate change, with one person describing their degrading health from climate change as "The air quality has drastically been worsening, and I've been having nasal allergies due to the amount of PM particles present in the air." This person lived in Singapore, which may be an indication of their cultural perspective.

This survey does have a very small sample size, so nothing conclusive can be derived, however, the way the response to the question asking if they believed global warming was a serious issue was so unanimous, that may indicate that cultural perspectives on this issue may not differ much from each other.
